The Two Color Granny Square is nice to know how to make when you are ready to do a croquilt. The first time is always the hardest and this is too easy to be true.

Rnd 2: Sl st in next ch sp, ch 3, dc in same sp, dc in each of next 3 sts, (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next ch sp changing to violet in last dc made, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch sp, dc in each of next 3 sts, (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch sp, dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next ch sp, ch 2, join, TURN.

Rnd 3: Sl st in next ch sp, ch 3, dc in same sp, dc in next 7 sts, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch sp, dc in next 7 sts, 2 dc in next ch sp changing to white in last dc made, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp, dc in next 7 sts, (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch sp, dc in next 7 sts, 2 dc in next ch sp, ch 2, join, fasten off.
