Yes my stash has been crashed as I found out the other day when I went to a box deep in my pile to look for some yarn and much to my (and for that matter his) shock and horror a little field mouse came dashing out...YIKES. Never having a mouse problem until this year, I was totally unaware and never would of thought that mice like yarn. Well they do, and this little guy chewed his way through 5 skeins making a lovely little nest in between my lion brand boucle while depositing large quantities of poo in all the rest of my yarn. My solution was to buy those big plastic, chew proof, storage containers. They come in all sizes and will hopefully keep out the stash crashers. So for those of you having problems with cat hair and yarn you can pass this tip up, but for the rest of us with unprotected homes, box it in plastic.
