sewing in ends etc
Just saw the e-mail on stitching ends by dividing the yarn. I take that one step further by, when I add another ball, I already divide the yarns into plys. By that I mean this: come to the end of one ball and I leave about 10". Then I take the new ball, unroll about 10". Separating the yarns into 2 ply by untwistng and doing the same with the new yarn. Then twist the ends of the old and new ball together and start crocheting (that can be used for knitting as well). When you come to the point where both have only a couple of inches left, I just keep on using the new ball which by now is very well attached! At the end of the piece I'll just use the loose ends and go back and forth a couple of times and cut the ends. It makes short work of stitching the ends and no danger of unravelling or popping out!

I love this idea! Thank you so much for a new way to avoid weaving in loose ends.
I need to try this, thanks.
