"Invisible Seam"

Just don't join at the end of rounds, just crochet in a spiral & use a sticth marker on the first stitch of each row

this tip has helped me alot with my hats

I have long hated the "seam" effect I get on some hats; this
little trick in going into my bag and will be used often.
Now, can you recommend a good (pretty) stitch marker/maker.

hmmm i would recommed the stitch markers from Lionbrand.com
they're pretty good
