More tips:
If you make little curlicues like the sample (in photo), leave the end strands uncut so they can be used to sew on the curlicue/ s to scarfs, bags, clothing etc..
Make in lots of colours (leaving on end strands) and tie on a scarf to brighten it up, untie and change colours whenever you feel like a change.
Use curlicues instead of pom poms or bobbles.
Make in a chunky or fluffy yarn for a scarf.
Make in a cotton twine or flax yarn for a belt.
Make mini curlicues in cotton and wire for earrings.
Make in a thick cotton and attach one or more to a keyring.
Can be attached to necklaces or used to make curlicue flowers.

the pic needs to be a little bigger so you can see the details. its hard to see
But very easy to make and nice

My mother had made tons of these for my sister and me when we were little girls to wear as hair bows! She just had a long crocheted chain with the curlicues on each end. We had them to match all our outfits. I have wondered how to go about making these myself. Very cool!
