Another way to store Crochet hooks

Another way to store Crochet hooks

As an eyeglass wearer, I have a few of the hard, clamshell style
eyeglass cases lying around and not use because I very rarely take my
glasses off and when I do, they just sit next to the computer, but when
my daughter gave me another case for Christmas, it was so adorable, I
just couldn't put it aside.

That is when I got the idea to see if my hooks fit in it, and they did!
Then I pulled out my other case and put my steel hooks in it and it
works out wonderful!

This is great! I have about a dozen sitting around in various places around the house (I get a new one any time I get new frames for my glasses, but I have astigmatism and I never take them off except to sleep!) so this will be a very good use for them. Yay!

I like to dance to loading zone announcements.

What a great idea! Now a reason to dig up those extra cases.

Nice idea. I had just picked up a few of those cases at a garage sale for a few cents.

I made a case about a year ago. It was quick and it turned out very well. I used worsted weight cotton yarn.

I found it on a Crochet Pattern Central listing for cases and caddies: http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/cases_caddies.php

I keep my knitting needles in a decorative cardboard tube wine gift box I found at a local craft store.

Thanks :)

I have that crocheted hook case pattern, it's a WIP (well, more accurately, it's more of a UFO lol) a right now. I'm horrible with all of the WIP's (& UFO's) that I have, it's almost as if I have crochet ADD lol

Brilliantly simple...and I don't even have to go buy anything new. Bonus points for thrift!

(Let's face it, with 3 kids under 6, 2 bulldogs and one hubbie, crochet... it's a sanity thing.)
