This cute little case can be made in any type of yarn (I prefer a fun color like this mustard). You can also line it (which I did); either way it's a fashionable way to carry your cell phone!

Yarn of any color/type (I chose a medium acrylic blend)
6 mm crochet hook
button
sewing needle
fabric for lining and sewing materials (optional)

The size of your case will be determined by the size of your cell phone.

Chain your desired length, I have a LG Voyager from Verizon and I chained 18.
Row 1: SC in second chain from hook and in the rest of the chain. Do not turn. Continue to SC on the other side of the chain. This will complete 1 round.
Row 2+: Continue to SC on both sides until desired depth is obtained. (This will depend on our phone. I crocheted 12 rounds for my particular phone.)
Button Hook: On your last round SC until middle of second side. Chain 9 or so (depending on width of your phone. Skip one SC, join to next SC and continue to SC until the end of the round.
Button: Choose button and sew to opposite side of button hook.
