I made these guys about six months ago for Amy Swenson [4]'s new book, Not Your Mama's Crochet [5] (Wiley, 2006). I think they're my favourite dolls, to date.

I love Amy's style of writing; the book is really entertaining to read. Also, I was way psyched when she asked me to chat with her about Crochet Me so she could put in a sidebar about the site.

Thanks, Amy, for including me in a group of such talented crocheters, and for saying to me, "Sure, don't put arms and legs on the dolls." I hate arms and legs.
