I was pretty stoked back in July to have been contacted by a fabulous crafts columnist [1] about an article she was writing about crochet. The article [2] just came out (yay for crochet!), and I'm pretty googly-eyed to be quoted along with Lily Chin [3] and Debbie Stoller [4]. Actually, I'm totally floored.

I'm also really amused by the one quote she included (scroll all the way to the end). And I stand by it. Granny squares are great. But to really get the crochet ball rolling, let's make up some new classics, shall we? Are you game?
