Hi Everyone,
Looking for fun, interesting, and or different ways of joining together afghan squares...
My neighbor is working a very nice afghan with a relief flower in the center and dreads sewing the 48 squares together. :) Anyway, she could use something that adds a bit more of the color which is along the square's edges while joining these squares.
Since the squares are so nice, I was looking for a prettier and more exciting way that these squares could be put together. (... which would also help make the task more interesting or help motivate one to finish up the project).
So far, I found a flat braid method online and I linked to in the list below.
So far, a few online finds:
I was wondering if anyone else in the group can offer up some great ideas or techniques for joining squares which would make it more fun. Maybe we could put together a resource list for Joining Squares? Illustrations or pictures would be wonderful also.
thanks,
holly
