-Gown ( worked in rows)-

Find center 5 stitches under features on head. The dolly's head will be upside down

and you will work the first row in the free loops of round 12 of the head.

Join gown color with a slip stitch in the first stitch of the five,.

Row 1: 2 single crochet in same stitch as join and each stitch across,

Sew arms to top of gown with first stitch sewn to row 3.

Leave back 5 stitches on arm free.

Sew legs to bottom of gown in front loop. They should meet in the center of the

gown. The legs are sewn shut.

-Blanket----Worked in rounds-

Round 1: Beginning at bottom right side of gown join blanket color. Single crochet

in same stitch and in each stitch across bottom, including the free

part of the stitches that the legs are sewn to. 3 single crochet in corner, continue

up side and across free loops on the arm,

across shoulder and back free loops on back of head, across other shoulder, free

stitches on the other arm. Continue with single crochet down

the other side, back to beginning, ending with 2 single crochet in same stitch as

join. I ended up with 63 stitches, but this is not important. the blanket will

ruffle and an exact stitch count won't be necessary. The blanket will ruffle.

Round 2: Chain 2, double crochet in same stitch, double crochet in each stitch

working three double crochet in middle stitch of corner and in the middle stitch

of the arms, around, back to the beginning. Work 2 double crochet in same stitch as

beginning chain 2, join with slip stitch in 1st double crochet.
