Designed to fit most adult heads.

First 3 rnds= 2 1/2" in diameter

12 st x 14 row square= 4 x 4"

Puff St= (yo, insert hook in st, yo, draw through st) 4 times in same st (9 loops on hook), yo, draw through 9 loops.

Edging St= yo twice, insert hook in st, yo, draw through all loops on hook.

Ch 2.

Rnd 1: 12 sc in 2nd ch from hook (12 sc).
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc aroung (24 sc).
Rnd 3: sc in each sc around. (24 sc).
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc*; repeat around (36 sc)
Rnd 5: sc in each sc around (36 sc).
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc*; repeat around (48 sc).
Rnd 7: sc in each sc around (48 sc).
Rnd 8: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sc*; repeat around (60 sc).
Rnds 9-15: ch 1, sc in each sc around (60 sc).
Rnd 16: ch 1, sc in each sc around (60 sc). Join with sl st in next sc.
Rnd 17: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), puff st in next sc, *hdc in next sc, puff st in next sc*; repeat around. Join with sl st in top of ch 2 (30 puff sts).
Rnds 18-19: Ch 1, sc in each st around (60 sc). Soin with sl st in 1st sc.
Rnd 20: Ch 2, edging st in each st around. Join with sl st in top of ch 2. Fasten off.
