5th round.New colour: start in ss on round 4: 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 5 dtr, 1 tr in the ch-loop between the dtr groups on round 3. * 1 dc in each of the next 6 dtr, 3 dc in the corner loop, (1 dc in ieach of tthe next 6 dtr, 1 tr in the 1 ch loop between the dtr groups on round 3), twice * 3 times. 1 dc in each of the next 6 dtr, 1 tr in the ch loop between groups of dtr on round 3, 1 ss in the first ch.

6th round: 3 ch, 1 tr in each stitch, 3 tr in the middle stitch in each corner, finish with 1 ss in the 3rd of the first 3 ch. ( this is what it says in my pattern, I think I uset dc in stead of tr on this round.)

Good luck!

Very nice! I like the way they all look different using the same pattern and different color combos!

Ah, I've noticed some granny squares have a different look, like yours. It's because you use a taller stitch than usual. I have a question though about how tall.

What do you mean by dtr - English style starting with 2 yarn overs or US style starting with 3 yarn overs? I can't tell from the photos.

Sorry to have confused you - when I translated this, I found a vocabulary somewhere on the net - this must have been an English one, because I mean starting with 2 yarn over. (It's a bit confusing this difference between English and US style, I think..)

Weird, isn't it. I wonder why they aren't the same. In some ways, I think the English system makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying.

Winston Churchill said we were two countries separated by a common language. So true.
