I created a coaster pattern because I didn't see one that I liked it has a ridged texture you can use it to keep drinks from making a stain on your table

Worsted Weight Cotton
an h hook
and a yarn needle

4"x4"

16 sc and 7 rows= 4"

I used single crochet

Ch 16

Row 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook across
Row 2 : ch 1 sc in blo until the end then sc in both loops
rep row 2 until piece measures 4"
do not fasten off 3 sc in corner st, sc across row, 3 sc in corner st, sc evenly upside 3 sc in corner st, sc across, 3 sc in corner st, sc across row then fasten off and weave in ends
