Excuse my absence from the Forums. I've been working on my project list, which is as long as I am tall, and working on an epic afghan project for charity--the local children's hospital to be precise.
At any rate, here is my newest finished project. It took 13 skeins of Patons Grace in snow, and I spent more time finding and buying the yarn for it than actually crocheting it. I could tell you stories about the Sacramento public transit system that would make your hair curl, but that's beside the point.
Oh, and the picture was taken by the owners of the lys. :D

So is this your fabulous design?
mad for crochet!
When I'm riding I'm right...
Stunning!
What public trasit system in Sac? I'm in Elk Grove...still waiting
On a positive note, this a really beautiful lace pattern. You did a great job.
Happy Crafting!

The Regional Transit in Sac was quite a different experience than my small hometown's system, lol. Although I typically give my location as Sacramento, CA online, I don't actually live there but give that area as a security measure.
And thanks! :D
Well done. Is that an original design? I'd love to make one of these for my daughter.
Unfortunately, I seem to have no talent for designing garments. I worked off of a storebought pattern, but I can tell you what book it comes from and where to get it. :)
great jacket
this jacket is sooo stunning !
this jacket sooo darling !
That is fabulous! I'm sure it's worth all your effort.
Happy Crochetihg!

That looks TOTALLY store bought! You did a great job!
Lovely jacket, I'd like to know the book the pattern came from as well. Viz a viz public transport I thought it was only bad in dear old blighty (UK) I could definitely tell hair raising tales from London. As a non driver all my life you have my sympathy.
