Crochet Roses Cape

Finally! I started this in June 2006, had to put it aside for a while, then picked it up again last summer, and now it's done!

It's lots of crocheted roses, leaves, and five-petal flowers, sewn together with sewing thread. I used flowers, but you can use any kind of small motif.

Hi Suzann!!

This is just gorgeous!! I can definately see why it took such a long time to make. See, I'd like to do something pretty like that as well, but I don't have a lot of patience. Perhaps if I just make some flowers & set them aside for the future it won't seem so overwhelming. I'm still learning!! I look forward to seeing your book!!!

it sounds like something I would like.

Thanks!!!

Thanks for buying my book, mmf! There are corrections to some of the patterns--look for them at the web site listed in the Introduction. There are also more project ideas and a flower crochet-along at the site.

Hachiko--I just made a few flowers every day and soon there were piles of them! You don't have to start with such a large project, either. A flowery table mat would be nice.
