Excuse my dodgy posing photos - deb :D
Yes, I can see why you're pleased! What stitch did you use for the body of the sweater? The fabric looks so nice and drapey. Maybe it's the alpaca's influence.

Absolutely gorgeous!
mad for crochet!
It looks great! Congrats!
Visually, it's not to tight as long as it's comfortable.

the stitch is single crochet, back loop only, as in the pattern. it has made a nice fabric.

wow - very nice! I appreciate the amount of work that went into this - I'm working on the wrap from the cover of that same book. It's been a while since I've crocheted so it's slow going for me.
beautiful work!

WOW this is wonderful! good job! how long did it take?
wow, fantastic job!! That's one I want to make as well, haven't had the guts to try it yet though ^^;
Fantastic job and the picture of your results made me run over to the Interweave site and order the back issue (fall 2008) to make one for myself and maybe my 26 yr old daughter will get one too!
The name of that sweater is Northern Dreams. I missed the Fall '08 issue, but I hope to get a back issue. That's a beautiful sweater and you did an excellent job on it!
someday when I finish my current project I'll definitley consider trying that out
