oceans of shells

i made this for a friend of mine. it uses 3 strands of yarn, and the shells are pretty basic... three doubles, chain one, one double. each row is done in the chain 1 space of the row below. the edging is double-stranded, simple single chain picot.


the finished size is somewhere around full bed, or good for the back of the couch.
