Hi all,

I'm hooking in here from rainy Colorado :)

I used to be an avid knitter, making store models and teaching, whipping out a sweater a weekend, but my fingers no longer want me to do that (arthritis) and I can only knit very little at a time. Used to be crochet gives my wrist issues, no more, I can crochet now for days on end, go figure!! But I embrace and have fun!

After receiving the "crochet me" newsletter last week, I finally browsed it this weekend, oh wow! I just HAD to immediately buy and download that infinity shawl pattern, dig around for some yarn, am now working the last row on my 5th element ;) hehe, can't wait to do the long rows! thanks for pointing out that fabulous pattern!

About that arthritis...I have it in my wrists also, but, I still won't put down my projects until I feel like crying because it hurts so bad. Have you ever tried using those fingerless plove type things I hear people talk about? I am just curious as to if they work. It seems to me that they would get in the way and affect my crocheting.
