Hi everyone! My name is Robin. Nice to meet you all and to be in such a crochet-friendly place. While I have about 40 years experience crocheting, I'm looking to try my hand at irish crochet and would appreciate it if any among you can give me a few pointers to get started. Thanks and happy crocheting!

mad for crochet!

Hi Robin, Good to have you here with all of us. I am a fan of Irish crochet too, but I haven't done much. I found some good patterns here http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/search.php

and I have Myra Wood's Creative Lace book. She takes a freeform approach to different lace techniques.

Cheers! Sarah

Hi Sarah, Thanks for the welcome and the pattern leads. Myra Wood's Creative Lace book is one I haven't seen. I'll be on the lookout for it. Happy crocheting!
