Hey there everybody,

I have a couple of questions.

I want to try a crochet-edged burb cloth and blanket set, but don't want to spend $20 on a lark. Any ideas where I can find the pre-hemstitched cloth cheaper? Or, where to get a blanket hemstitched?

Also, what do you use to write your name on one of those sew-on labels ("Made with love by:") so that it doesn't wash out?

Thanks!!!

Kelly

I made some receiving blankets by buying flannel yardage from a fabric store and cutting it down to the sizes I wanted. I hem-stitched it myself with my sewing machine, but if you don't have one that does that you could probably take it to an alterations shop and they'd do it for a nominal fee.

You could embroider your name on the label or use a fabric marker.
