You've got to see this video - "extreme" knitting

This is incredible. Knitting with fence post sized "needles" and 1000 strands of yarn! Who says needlework isn't exercize?

Wow! The prep time is longer than the knitting time, I suspect, and the knitting was such an effort. The thicker the yarn or the more strands you use, the faster the knitting goes, but I think this was well past the point of diminishing returns. I think she hit negative returns.

It made an attractive fabric. I wonder if she ever finished it?

That is hilarious. I love the image of her wrestling that yarn on the needles! All that yarn hanging like rays of light is very beautiful.

That was really interesting. I have crocheted with as much as 3 strands of chunky yarn and that takes strength. I really would not want to deal with that many skeins of yarns if one would knot it would be frustrating!!
