Why Do They Turn Out Bigger? 0.o
Whenever I crochet, the projects just.... dont come out right. They turn out like, humongous!
Are they supposed to be that big?
I mean, in the pictures, they look like you know, small. About the size of my palm, but they turn out like, as big as a ball of yarn. Lol.
Any help?
What am I doing wrong?

From your title you're making amigurumi eggs? or bra cups?
Do you swatch? That will tell you if your gauge is the same or larger or smaller than the pattern. It also lets you see if you even like the combo of your yarn and the pattern stitch. I admit I have trouble with gauge in crochet; my stitches seem to loosen up after I've worked a bit on the project compared to what they were in the gauge swatch, but you can keep measuring your gauge every few inches and change hook size if needed.
BTW, if you are talking about amigurumi, my impression is they are larger than I expect from the photos. If it says 6" tall, that is BIG. Get a ruler out and see. So, try making them with thinner yarns: sport weight yarn, baby weight yarn, or even thread. Thread will get you down to key fob sizes.
