Which FO are you the most pleased with?

Categorized As:

I was just curious to find out what finished projects you are the most pleased with.

Mine is a poncho I made for my sister using Tunisian Crochet. It was a Stitch Diva pattern, using Collinette (in a gorgeous red), and a huge 15 mm tunisian hook. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of it (actually I might just see if I can get my sister to model it for me). I'd never tried tunisian crochet before, and it was a bit of a challenge - and took three attempts. It also got me back into crocheting - I'd let it slip for a while.

What about you?

Finished? That limits my choices, lol, to a cowl neck wrap from this site called "Baby It's Cowled Outside" I think. I really like the way it keeps my neck warm with no dangling ends. I made it of sock yarn in multi colors called "Redwood Forrest," you can guess the colors, and it goes well with my jackets. It was tedious to make, but I'm glad I did.

Ooh, I had a look at that and think it might be one of my next projects (although I think I may have to make two one for me and one for my Mum). It's lovely.

I would have to say the first ear flap hat that I did. It was the most complicated thing that I had ever made (i.e. not a granny square!). It got the reaction from my Nan of 'It's as good as anything I could make' - Praise indeed! Unfortunately, it is a bit small on my head, so I haven't really used it. I made another hat for my sister, and crocheted in her nickname. I have seen her use it, so I think she likes it!

I like it when my Nan say's something like that about things I've made.

I followed your link to your blog - I really like the mouse - he (or she) is very cute.

I made a tank called Tanky. No pattern, I just worked out what bits I needed and sewed them together at the end.

He likes hugs and shooting things.

Tanky sounds like fun. Do you have a picture of him anywhere?

Luckily for you he's currently starring in a Broadway Musical. Erm, a thread on Crochetme.
