Venting - dogs and crochet

Categorized As:

I left my work in its open bag and my dog fished it out and chewed up the stitch markers. Grr. She didn't lose a stitch so maybe I can forgive her.

I'm make Eva's shawl by milobo, and it's going so fast but then it's still small. Maybe I should make a dog sweater instead. She hates them. That'll fix her.

You know, the odd thing at my house is that my two cats don't bother my crochet at. all. It's the dog. He likes to come up while I'm working and try to steal my ball/cone. Maybe I should crochet him a ball or something...

On the few occasions I knit, my dog won't leave me alone. He's always snuffling into the ball of yarn AND what I'm knitting. Crocheting doesn't bother him, but maybe that's because he's got his own crocheted blanket!

My personal vent is dog hair though - I can take out a brand new ball of yarn, pull the yarn from the middle, and there'll be a few black or white pooch hairs attached to it. Bah.

I don't have dogs and my cats live outside, It's my baby complains when I crochet, not only because I have her model all her new hats! but she dosn't like having any competition for my attention.

We have a BIG dog which is a Newfoundland/Chow mix who couldn't care less about needle work. However, my 2 cats just loooove to play with the yarn, pattern...etc...
They will even run across me, steal the project, whatever for attention!
Anyone for a couple of darling(?) kitties...grrrhhh!
