mad for crochet!

Wow, that's impressive! I think it is the coolest afgan I have ever seen. What was your method?

I used single crochet to block out main colors and then went back and did detailing with cross stitch on top.

I am so amazed at your work! You're inspiring me to learn how to do "picture crochet" just so I can make some Mario crafts. I think I would be too selfish to give something like that away.
