stripey poncho

Here is a wool poncho I made for chilly fall days to come.

I dyed the yarn with plant dyes.

brown-beach plum bark with iron
pink- beach plum bark with no mordant
gold- red onion skins with alum
green- barberry bark with copper

I still need to block it and I am not sure about the braided fringe. I think I may end up weaving in the ends instead.

When I'm riding I'm right...
