Stash Buster Cardigan Vest

Finished the stash buster vest this weekend. It was fun to make and used a fair amount of yarn. Pattern is by Chloe Nightingale on this site. My next ambition is her Icelandic turtleneck from the Crochet Me book!
The stripe panels are a bit curly and one side ended up being a tad shorter than the other, but overall I'm pleased. Has anyone else made this?

Kudos for your interpretation and for the design, too. I wondered why you didn't say anything about the hat. It took a while to realize it's a hoodie, lol.
