Maybe I missed it, but can there be a button on someone's profile for sending a message? Like if I am looking at the profile for Poptart23 and I want to write to them and say "whoa, nice crocheted pants! and you live in the area, wanna crochet together in a totally safe and noncreepy way?" It would be nice to hit a button right there and do it instead of having to go to your mailbox and whatnot.

Great idea! Unfortunately it can't be easily added at this point without a decent amount of re-programming (right now Private Messaging doesn't allow you to "pre-type" someone's name into the "to" box). It's definitely on the list of things to look into though! For now you'll need to do one of two things:
(1) click on "my messages" (over on the far right) and remember the person's name
OR
(2) click on "view full user profile" in the crocheter's bio box and check to see if they've enabled their contact form (above the avatar/photo on the full bio page). It's enabled by default so you should be in luck...
