Hi Deneen - That's a great question. Emma, the way I see it it looks like only admins can get a full list. Is there a way for users to see who else is a member?
Related to this, it used to be that the custom profile field for "where I come from" would link to a page of other people from that place (that's why, for that field, I wrote help text for people not to use commas, etc.). But since I'm not sure when, it doesn't link anymore. Re-enabling that would be a great way for users to find other crocheters in their area. What do you think?
(I'm moving this to the Bug Reports forum just so it stays on our lists.)

Usually, when there are a lot of accounts, you can see the names on the bottom who are members, but you can also do a member search by name. When it's small like this is now, you can usually click "registered users" and the names will come up and then you can click by the name to see their profile.

PS-I know this was directed to Kim, but I didn't know if you understood what I was asking about exactly.
Kim, I'm also going to leave a link to this module (profile plus) which is a more in-depth search of user profile information. Unclear if it'll work with our customized profiles. But I add it here, just in case the built-in search is insufficient. http://drupal.org/project/profileplus

Thanks for getting back to me. Hopefully it'll get figured out.

How would that work when there are 10,000 registered accounts?
Kim: you should know better than to put two issues into the same topic. Makes it hard to separate solved issues. ;)

There's the member search. :) Maybe that should also be available on the main "People" page?

You wouldn't, of course, make the member list accessible to spam robots!!!
Pauline3, the member list wouldn't involve email addresses or other private information.
