Thank you for the comment. I used a red crochet thread (size 10)I believe the brand was Aunt Lydia's. To get the right gauge I used three spools of thread together to get the right thickness.
Thank you for the comment! I found the finger puppet pattern in a book called, "Crochet From the Heart: Quick Projects for Generous Giving" by Kristin Spurkland and the dress pattern I found in the crochet magazine, "Interweave Crochet" spring issue 2007
Hey guys no comments on that cool square (I'm guessing blanket) with the white circles around it, great design! What a beautiful entrance to the world she'll make all dressed up in red.
I got the idea from another afghan I saw in a magazine, I liked the circle edging, but did not like the body pattern. I took a block pattern with a circle in the middle and kept it going until I reach the desired width and length to fit all of the circles around it. The block pattern I found in the book, 200 Crochet Blocks.

In recent years I have become a habitual crocheter. I love making and creating unique crochet projects. For me, crocheting is a form of meditation. On a nice summer day, you could often find me on the deck, with the music on, crocheting the day away.
I love red, too, and yours are so very nicely done. Lucky baby.
Wow, good job!
I particularly like the dress and the finger puppets. What kind of yarn did you use for the dress?

Wow! It is great to see real colors for babies! I'd think babies might get tired of washed-out pastels. RED! Lucky baby!
So beautiful!! The dress is darling! And are those finger puppets? Are you going to post pattern information?

Love the dress and love the blankie! A diva in the making. :)
I love the dress, it'd look perfect on my wee one.
Is there a pattern posted? I would dearly love to try and make it.
