Purses, Purses

I recently finished a few purses. And finally got around to taking some pictures of them and some pictures of a few older purses I have made.

This one is made out of Bernat Wool:

Nice purses; your designs? The last photo is a repeat of the record cover.

I love them! I think my favorite is the felted bobbles.

Wow! Nickela, I just checked out your Flickr photo stream. You have made a lot of amazing stuff. Your baby looks adorable in the overalls! I need to make a bag using your idea with the record covers. I am really impressed with the felted stuff.  What is your method for felting? If you don't mind my asking.  mad for crochet!

Hey thanks for the compliment! I just use my washing machine to felt. Sometimes it takes several 'washes' to get the results I want - I think it depends on the stitches used and your tension. But I love felting, its so forgiving!

Do you let it go through the spin cycles too?

Sometimes depends what the object is. When I have they usually require a little extra shapping afterwards before air drying.
