Pretty Flower Recycled Totes

Here are photos of the flower that I added to my recycled shopping bag totes. Even the curling ribbon centers are recycled from my son's birthday party!

I cut the top and bottom off of a small bag, and cut it into one long continuous strip (it really doesn't use as long a length as you might think). Then I used the Knifty Knitter Flower Loom (the small peach one), following the directions and using curling ribbon for the center. This particular loom is great b/c you pull the pegs out to remove the flower...this eliminates the risk of breaking the plastic "petals".

Yeay! I figured it out!
