Prayer Shawl Ministry -- McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church -- is open to anyone who would like to participate. We will be making shawls to give to those who are in need of prayerful comfort. We meet every other Tuesday night 6:30 - 7:30 in the fellowship hall (695 W. Stuart St. Bartow, FL 33830) beginning Feb. 12, 2008. Please bring your own needles & yarn -- patterns will be provided. Donations of yarn, paper gift bags, tissue paper, etc. are welcome!
We will begin with shawls -- knitted or crocheted, but welcome any hand-work -- quilting, embroidery, sewing, etc. We will also expand to include hats and lap-quilts as well as baby items.
