Ocean Wave Baby Blanket
I have been working on a baby blanket for some time. It started out very slow as I learned the new stitch. then it was lost in the chest of unfinished projects for a year or two. I am now about 1/3 of the way through. I just don't get time to crochet as much as I would like! I will get some pictures of it posted in the next couple of days.
The pattern is called Ocean Wave. I am not at home right now to know the publisher of the pattern, but I will include it with the pictures. I used a baby yarn, and the pattern called for worsted weight. I was concerned that the pattern would show up as well, but it is coming out nicely, just on a smaller scale. =)

I made this blanket last year for a friend's newborn. I loved working the shell pattern (it's by Lion Brand btw) but I did get bored about half way through. Luckily there was a due date involved and had no time to waste!
I'm working this blanket right now for my grandson's 2nd birthday. Easy, easy pattern that works up beautifully and (bonus!) my daughter-in-law is fascinated by how the colors appear separated even though they're in the same row. The pattern is free on the Lion Brand website.
