Well I actually first learned how to crochet when I was about 7 but forgot and picked it up again in 8th grade. My mom used to crochet all the time so I wanted to too.
Awesome. I could chain by the time I was seven too but that was it until I was 30 or so! In the intervening 23 years, I crocheted 1 1/2 booties, the making of which was the equivalent of pulling teeth.
