I'm excited to join this awesome site and talk some crochet. I have recently started crocheting with some help from my room mate. I also knit and sew and love doing anything crafty. I look forward to participating!
Have you checked out the Austin Knitting and Crocheting Meetup group on yahoo or Ravelry. We meet up every week - many times a week in different locations. I tend to only go on Sunday afternoons to the one at Kneaded Pleasures (a bakery / coffee shop) on Far West Blvd. Check out the times and locations and please come along - we need more crocheters or even yarn ninjas (those who can do more than one yarn craft).
Welcome, by the way.

I am a craft loving fool and often bore people with knitting, crocheting, and sewing mumbo-jumbo desperately trying to turn them to the craft side of the force. I WILL one day have my husband(Tony)crochet or knit, he just doesn't know it yet...I have an Associates in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of Dallas, but I crave more knowledge in the Fiber Arts field. I desire to learn how to spin yarn and dye it along with owning and shearing Angora goats and Alpacas. I love to talk crafts of all kinds so don't be shy...contact me if ya want!
Ohh, I forgot to sign off!
Thanks,
Allie B
