Hi All - I have been crocheting and dabbling in knitting with plarn for 10+ years. I have some fiber friends that introduced me to the world of spinning. I got curious to see how different it would look to spin the plarn than to do the double-loop method. After doing so, I instantly fell in love. That was on a Wednesday and by Sunday, I was the proud owner of a Louet spinning wheel.

Most of what I make to sell and gift are market bags and pouches of various sizes. So I decided to crochet and knit a bag from homespun plarn. What a difference in the texture. I can't say there was a difference in durability because they are fantasticly durable regardless of handspun or double-loop.
