Hi, Rashidah. I'm new here too. I have 2 children and am 45. 10 grandchildren??!!!! Your kids sure did get busy on your behalf. My oldest is married, but I'm not pressuring him. He's in the Air Force (1 year now) and I figure that's enough pressure. Anyway, I've been crocheting since I was 8 and am now hoping to make some business out of it. As I am sure happens to a lot of people who craft, I am always told that the things I make are beautiful and that I should sell them. I'm kind of afraid... What if the "real world" doesn't like my work? But money's tight around here (as I am sure it is in many places) so I have to do something to bring in income. I am a nurse by profession, but was ill for a year or so and find that as much as I miss my patients, I don't miss the administration or the paperwork! I really enjoy being home and find plenty to occupy my time. Here I am going on and on... you all will find that I do that often. I apologize in advance to those it annoys.

Hello everyone,
I'm new here too and I'm so glad I have found this web site.
I learned to crochet when I was seven but had gotten busy with other things. I started crocheting again 1 year ago and loved it. I think, I will hang onto this art/craft for as long as I live. I'm a non-practicing nurse at the moment and I think I will retire my license for good. I have one married son and no grand children yet. I live with my husband and my cat, Midnight.
Happy Crocheting,
chain4ever

I always wanted to be surrounded by grandchildren. you are very blessed!
