This is the blanket that I made with my Nan 20+ years ago! She taught me how to crochet, and once I'd mastered the basics we set to work on the squares with any bit of wool we had! It was finished when I got bored of crocheting (hey - I was a kid!) My sister is now the proud owner, and has it over the back of her sofa. I have told her I will patch it up for her and enlarge it if she wants.
