Love Scarf - Question
I am working on a pattern posted by Annette Petavy called "Love Scarf":

I can't quite get my ends to look proper when I change colours. The pattern doesn't say anything about turning, am I supposed to ch 1 and turn?
At the beginning the pattern says the stitch is worked over an even number of stitches but the instructions later on say to chain 251.
I have tried countless combinations (chain an even number/odd number, ch1 at end of row, ch2 at end of row...) but it doesn't look right. I am new at crocheting, any pointers?
Hi MRadford, I will try to help you out. To change colors at the end of a row, leave last stitch of the row unfinished, and pull the new color through the two loops on your hook, finishing the last stitch with the new color. Then ch1, turn, and work as usual. I hope this is clear. I am guessing that the odd number of stitches of the foundation chain accounts for the turning chain.
