LITTLE SPORTS SWEATER

This is my revised version of a free pattern from Needlecrafts for my Grandson's first Christmas. The number used on the back was his fathers number when he played high school football. I used Caron's Simply Soft and this is my first clothing project. I am sure others could revise this as well for other "team" interests.

Are the letters and numbers purchased felt?

No the letters and the numbers are purchased iron on embroidery from Hancocks. Had a tough time finding all the letters and numbers I needed in the same font elsewhere. I ironed them on and then also handstitched them for additional strength. I have an embroidery machine myself and will experiment more to combine the two now.
