Hi everybody! I'm new here; I joined to find new patterns for the scarves I'm making my cousins for Christmas. In the midst of my search, I stumbled upon this amazing pattern! Downside, it's a knitting pattern.

Click on the Patterns tab above and you'll find 26 bag patterns here. Some were messenger style. I didn't see any with cables, though, if that's what caught your eye.
Have you tried Crochet Pattern Central?

if you had the time you could come up with something similar. Crochet cables have a different look than knit cables, but That's not a detriment.

If I had the time I could probably come up with something but it wouldn't be until after christmas.
