Kerchief...bless you

Categorized As:

A coworker asked me to make 2 kerchiefs for her, a lighter cotton one and a warmer winter one. She told me the shape she wanted and I designed them.

This one is done with Plymouth Baby Alpaca in bulky weight. The main body is a sc/dc seed stitch and the center is a six stitch cable.

This one is done in cotton, all single crochet with a repeating interlocking circle pattern.

Very nicely done. Can you get co-worker to model them?

I will remind her to get photos. I try to take photos of the people wearing the things I made, but I forgot the camera that day.

I love that when I open the page the top photo looks almost...lewd.

yes that top one looks ... ummm... multifunctional? .... maybe you could work it up as a pattern for a garment-of-many-uses. You'd definitely want a series of models.

The cotton one is a beautiful design; how did you make the colors?! is it tapestry crochet?

I bet I could get David to model that!

it's just tapestry crochet. I loved making it, so calming to switch back and forth on the colors.
