Katamari Obsession

Categorized As:

Katamari i my religion... I just had to make the Prince. His body is crocheted in cotton and the face is carefully painted acrylic felt.

sorry... I don't know if the photo is showing; I can't see it in my post so here is the link to it.

Very nicely done, cute, but tell this old gal, what is Katamari?

Oh, gladly... sorry; I tend to forget that not everyone is into video games ;)

One of my favorite games, definitely. The Prince is the little character you start with - you control him as he rolls a sticky ball that cathes small things at first but the more stuff you get, the bigger the ball gets and the bigger the things you can roll up (ex: you start rolling up cookies into your ball and you may end-up rolling people, cars, houses, islands).

He has strangely shaped cousins too; I plan to make a few of them eventually. The game is absurd, artsy and full of weird, weird fun.

Thank you. That seemed likely, but I didn't know.

jsdflkjsd do you have the pattern for this? I'm fairly new to crocheting but this would be so perfect for my boyfriend.

Unfortunately, I mostly do improvised/freeform.However, with the number of Katamari fans out there, I am sure you can find a pattern using Google... Good luck!

Oh my GOD this is so freakin' cute! I LOVE Katamari but unfortunately, it makes me ill. Seriously, I get motion sickness when I play it. But awesome job!
