I already do this for free anyway...

...so I was wondering how I could actually make money off of my crochet, since right now I am in great financial hardship.

I checked out the geek central station blog, saw some of the incredible creations, and wondered how I could make some money off of my own creations, a few of which you, dear members, have already seen.

Does the person who runs this blog have copyright permission? Did she have to file some kind of legal paperwork? The memory is unfortunately still vivid of Yours Truly almost got the old banhammer at crochetville.org when I merely mentioned the possibility of selling my comic book amigurumi...

That's the problem with using someone else's concepts to create anigurumi, isn't it. You can bet Disney would be down on you if you tried to sell a Mickey Mouse doll, so the other comics would do the same. Bummer.

Also, Kim Werker, owner of this site, is the editor of "Interweave Crochet" in her other life, so you have to believe she is very aware of copyright rules. Oh, I just scrolled down and discovered links to many things including "copyright policy" and "terms and conditions." They may answer your questions.

Good luck to you in making and selling.
