How do I finish a spiral sleeve?
Hi all!
I am recently new to the site, but I've been following it since I started crochet about two months ago. I've already learned a lot and have made several projects.
I'm just discovering the benefits of the "spiral" technique. I love it! However, I haven't found the perfect way to finish my last round yet. I'm working on a simple iPhone case, so it's basically just a sleeve shape with a closed bottom. Does anyone have any tips about how to finish the last round without it looking wobbly from the spiral effect?
Thanks so much,
Beth

Hi Beth,
I'm assuming that you are using a sc stitch, if this is so, what I would do is decrease the hight of the last 3 to 5 stitches by doing slip stitch (sl) on each of this 3 to 5 stitches.
If the pattern uses dc (double crochet), I would do sc on next 3 stitches then sl on last 3 sts (stitches).
I hope this helps.
