Hi From North Carolina

Hi Everyone! I'm Jenn, from Western NC. I am 29, married, and have 3 beautiful chihuahua kids. I am new to crocheting and having a lot of fun. I have made potholders and am almost done with my 1st scarf. So far I have only done single crochet and double crochet. I have not quite learned rounds yet and am excited to learn that. I am especially wanting to make hats. I am very glad I ran across this site and I know it will help me to learn much more about crocheting. :-)

Hi Jenn/Chimom79,

I'm glad you've joined us.

I've recently, actually almost 2 years ago, discovered the joys of a chihuahua. I'm still working on how to crochet when a small dog insists that my lap belongs to her, not to a hook and thread.

Hi Pauline,

I'm sitting here chuckling to myself because, Bert will growl at me if I move him from a project. Crocheting afghans can be rather interesting over here. Oh, if the hook or yarn should touch him -- temper, temper. LOL

Hi! I live in Hickory, NC, so we are neighbors! Knots of Love has some cute hat patterns...don't forget to make one for a cancer patient! Enjoy your crocheting, and our lovely weather today.

Hi Jenn!

I'm the proud mother of a three year old Chihuahua -- black long hair. Bert rules the house but is the best companion while I write and crochet. He has to snuggle right up next to me. Maybe, perhaps, might get him a wife. . . . Any suggestions?

I think a companion for Bert would be wonderful. My 3 love to hang out and have one another around, so I'd suggest going for it! ;-)
