Hi Kristin! I'm also in the Metro area!

I know that there are a couple of stitching groups around. There is the Michigan Crafters that get together once a month. The advertise the meetings on the Michigan Crocheters Yahoo group. The yahoo group sometimes has crochet gatherings in Ann Arbor, but they haven't done it since last winter. Then there is a little group of ladies (knit and crochet) that get together from Neighborhood Knits at a little cafe in Dearborn once a week, I think on Monday evenings, but I don't remember exactly right now.

I would love to see some more crochet get-togethers in the area though.

Hello!!!

The knitting/crochet group mentioned previously actually meets on Tuesday night in Dearborn at Caribou Coffee on Michigan Ave. Most members arrive at 5pm or 6pm. Some a litle earlier, some later. I'm in the Detroit Metro area too! I pass Neighborhood Knits on my way to work and I've always wanted to stop in, but haven't made it there yet.

Anyway, if there's any crochet groups in the Novi area, I'd be interested.

By the way, Kristin - you sort of look like Jackie Page from Fox2! Nice website and congrats to you. :)
