Hi there fellow crochetme users - I've finally gotten around to registering for this website, but I have been lurkering for a long time.

Hopefully I'll get to know some of you better soon, till then I'll keep writing up little patterns to share with you all.

Thanks for your patterns. I especially like the robin ornament. I've wanted to make bird ornaments, but was thinking of lacy-winged winged doves. Plump robins are sooo much better. An epiphany!

Hi Jess,

Welcome. I'm an American who has just moved to Hong Kong after 4 1/2 years in London (and two prior to that, with a break in the US in between) - you can see my posting in the forums. I love and miss London. And I especially miss the haberdashery departments at John Lewis and Liberty. There are some good yarn shops here, but so far I haven't found anything to match the atmosphere and range of choice of those two.

Your ornaments are really nice! Happy crocheting.
